ASEAN Valuers Association (AVA)

ASEAN Valuers Association (AVA) was established in June 1981 and currently has eight member countries comprising of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. It is a platform to promote the cooperation, create mutual understanding, establishing closer relationship, sharing of information, knowledge and experience in the relevant fields of valuation among valuers and allied professionals of ASEAN country members.

19th AVA PRE-CONGRESS MEETING

A congress and general assembly are held once in two years and rotated among member countries. There are pre-congress meetings in-between the congresses which are held to facilitate preparation of the congress.

The 19th AVA Pre-Congress Meeting  hosted by AVA Malaysian Chapter. This event has been held from 31st May to 3rd June 2015 at Langkawi Island, Kedah, Malaysia.

The primary objective of the meeting is to allow participants to confer on matters regarding the regulations, standards, and techniques adopted in the profession. It strives to bring together the ASEAN valuers community within the ASEAN countries.

The theme for this year's pre-congress meeting is 1ASEAN Valuers Community: A Way Forward. The theme emphasises on how the ASEAN valuers community could benefit each other by sharing of ideas and expertise on real estate practices. This will encourage exchange of ideas and values of their collective competence on various practices issues.
